Honolulu Airport Terminal 1

Honolulu Airport Terminal 1 is exclusively used by Hawaiian Airlines (domestic and US mainland flights).

It used to be called Interisland Terminal.

It is located to the right of the main airport access road, connected to the Main Terminal and to Terminal 3 by escalator.

Levels

Ground Floor

This is the baggage claim level (baggage claims 6 to 8 and 9 to 11).

Please, note that Hawaiian Airlines International Arrivals are hosted in Terminal 2.

Second Level

Find here both Check-in lobbies 2 and 3. Services: ATMs, information booth, food, drink and retail concessions.

This level houses boarding gates A13 to A20 and B1-B5.

Get to Terminal 3 by Gate 61.

The new Mauka Concourse is under construction and expected to be completed by 2020. It will be located next to the terminal building and will host 11 boarding gates, passengers holdrooms and concessions.

Third level

This is where Hawaiian Airlines The Plumeria Lounge is located. 

Inter-terminal transportation

Passengers can transfer between terminals by the free inter-terminal buses between the ticket counters and Terminal 1, Terminal 2 concourses and Terminal 3. The buses are known as Wiki Wiki buses.

Stops

Buses stop at the curbside on the ground level of all terminals.

Opening hours

Daily, from 06:00 am to 10:00 pm. 

Shuttle Bus

There is also a shuttle bus which transport passengers between concourses.

Opening hours

From 03:00 am to 11:30 pm.

Location

Upper level roadway, between Diamond Head and Ewa Concourses.

The shuttle also connects Terminals 1, 2 and 3 at the ground level of the public roadway.

Honolulu Airport Terminal 1 is home of the following airport lounges:

Hawaiian Airlines Premier Club Lounge: Second level, close to Gate A18. Open from 04:00 am to 10:00 pm. Services: Snacks, Wi-Fi, Newspapers, Magazines, Flight monitors, TV. Please note it is a non-smoking facility. 

Hawaiian Airlines The Plumeria Lounge: Third level, close to the Wiki Wiki Shuttle pick-up area. Open from 09:00 am to 09:30 pm. Services: Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Flight monitors, Newspapers, Magazines, TV. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.
